Hello everybody! In today's entry we are going to give you 3 tricks for hot silicone feet Do you slip when walking around the house in your slippers? Do you like to go around the house with socks or use them to do yoga but you slip? Do you usually wear a thin heel and it digs into the ground or grass?
Do you want to know how to solve this with hot silicone? Well keep reading.
Materials that we will need to do these tricks with hot silicone
- Hot silicone gun.
- Paper, any moldable that does not fade or allow the silicone to penetrate, I am using greaseproof paper.
- Your slippers at home that slip.
- Some socks that you want to be non-slip.
- Your fine-heeled shoes.
Hands on craft
Tip 1: No more slipping
To prevent your slippers from being at home from slipping, all you have to do is put little dots of hot silicone along the entire sole. Try to make these points flat and not bulky since it would be uncomfortable to step on.
Trick 2: slip resistant socks
It is very easy to obtain non-slip socks, you just have to make a few zig-zag lines with hot silicone along the entire sole. To prevent the silicone from penetrating the fabric and sticking the sole and instep of the sock, we put a little greaseproof paper inside it.

Trick 3: cap for thin heel
This trick is especially useful for events such as weddings, baptisms, communions or any cocktail held in garden areas.
Wrap the heel with greaseproof paper and a little tape to hold it. Also put a square of greaseproof paper under the heel.
With the shoe resting on the table, we gradually apply hot silicone until all the paper is covered. We let it dry, cut it into shape and paint it in the color of our shoe.
