Hands on craft
You can see how to make this craft step by step in the following video:
- Let's cut the paper, we will need eight rectangles of 7 x 10'5 cm approximately. Although if you want the biggest hearts you can make them in a measure of 14 x 20 cm or more. Also, if you want the heart to be more filling and dense, you can make 12 or more rectangles.
- Fold each rectangle in half, and draw the silhouette of a half heart in one and cut out. It is important that the half silhouette in the part where the fold of the paper is so that when unfolding it we have a complete heart.
- Using this form of pattern we are going to draw half hearts in the other rectangles. All hearts are cut out.
- Now we begin to assemble by putting glue on the outside of the hearts and we are gluing all the parts, forming a pile of half hearts.
- We put glue on the edge and we glue the ribbon or string of thread.
- And now, we close our hearts gluing the two faces that remain to be glued.
And ready! We can make a garland or put loose hearts to decorate our windows.
I hope you cheer up and do this craft to make this quarantine more enjoyable for both you and your neighbors.
