Popsicle stick crafts

Here four ways to make crafts very easy using popsicle sticks. Many varieties can be made with these simple sticks, which also can be recycled, although in stores we can already find an infinity of these types of materials. The technique is very simple and hardly many materials are needed to make all of them. They are very quick to do and so easy that can be done with children.

You can see the step by step of this tutorial in the following video:

These are the materials that I have used:

Pendant for earrings:

We will place the ice cream sticks to make a simulation of how the pendant will be. With care that it does not move we will go gluing the pieces with the hot silicone. The sticks will be joined immediately. The we will paint with the colors squeaky alternately and let it dry. Finally we will finish decorate with marker, we will paint the painted sticks with geometric and cheerful designs.

Decorative mini blackboard

We replace and adjust the sticks with the way we want our board to be. Very carefully without the pieces moving, we go sticking with the hot silicone. We paint the part of the face that will be black, with acrylic paint. There is nothing more to do, with these simple steps you will have this beautiful blackboard to decorate tables or for children to play.

Stick Coasters

We place the sticks making the shape of the coaster, later we are hitting them very careful not to move them with the hot silicone. We paint the upper part of the sticks and those that are placed on the surface. We place between its angles the wool in the shape of a cross and we tie it at the bottom so that the knots are not seen.

Candleholder

We take a large glass jar and we add a little hot silicone to go pasting the first stick. We place it well so that it remains well leveled with the base of the jar. We put silicone one on a stick and we are placing them, we must make sure that they all enter proportionally when we are finishing placing them all. We catch a ribbon and we knot it around the candle holder making a loop, I have put a little silicone below the loop so that it does not move and remains still.
