One of the most important elements of Christmas is the trees. Sometimes we don't have space at home because they are so big. In this post I am going to teach you how to do this tree recycling cardboard of the cereal boxes that we have at home and we will give an elegant touch to any corner of our home.
Materials to make the recycled Christmas tree
- Fine cardboard of cereals or similar
- Scissors
- Glue
- Ruler
- Gift Wrap
- Gold glitter eva rubber
- Star punch
- Marker or pencil
Procedure to make the recycled Christmas tree
Then I explain all the steps to follow to make this tree and decorate your house.
- To start you need a piece of cereal cardboard and a piece of cardboard or sheet of paper.
- Fold the sheet in half.
- With marker make this design to create the silhouette of the Christmas tree.
- Cut out the piece and you will have the template.
- Once we have the template we have to transfer it to the cardboard and draw it twice.
- Cut out the pieces and you will have the tree structure done.
- Choose a christmas wrapping paper of the design that you like the most.
- Glue the two trees on the paper and cut them out.
- Then do the same for the other side.
- I am using glue stick which is great for this job.
- With the help of a ruler, Draw a line in the center of each tree.
- Make a cut in the lower part and another in the upper part as you see in the image.
- These cuts will depend on the size of your tree, but the one at the bottom has to be much larger than the top.
- Insert the two pieces and you will have the tree made.
- I'm going to put a golden eva rubber star.
- I will glue one star on top of the other so it will look golden on both sides.
- And now I just have to stick it on the Christmas tree.
- Ready, you already have this little tree for decorate the place in your house that you like the most.
