Procedure for making decoupage on tin
- For this craft you need an aluminum can, mine is fruit.
- Remove the paper from the can and any glue residue.
- With a sponge and geso paint the can, give it two coats and let it dry.
- Choose the napkin that you like the most for this design.
- With a brush dipped in water, cut the piece of napkin that you are going to place.
- Take off the white cloaks that don't work in my case they are 2, but it can be 1.
- Apply some decoupage glue to the can and the napkin on top.
- Very carefully go spreading the napkin from the center out.
- Once finished, put a little more glue to protect over the top of the napkin.
- Do the same for the entire can with the other napkin pieces.
- Now I continue to decorate the can with some adhesive beads that mimic the morning dew.
- I'm going to stick a few all over the can.
- At the bottom I am going to place a piece of white rope to give it a rustic touch.
- With a hole punch I will create two cardboard butterflies: pink and red.
- I am going to stick them in the can to imitate as if they were perched on the flowers.
- And so you will have a super easy and inexpensive decorated tin to decorate your house, you can make many.
