Candle decoration with flowers
Candles are one of the creations that we love the most among those of us who are dedicated to crafts. It can be a good idea to decorate with flowers of the season. First, then, you have to pick flat flowers like daisies, violets, geraniums. Then take two sheets of paper towel and place in the middle of the flowers. Put something with substantial weight on them like a book.
Meanwhile, take a candle and go over the smooth surface over the white liquid wax with a brush. So take the flower and brush again with liquid wax and place anywhere you want. In this way, the candles are also ideal as a gift.
Paint the stones
During the holidays we love the sea to collect rocks of all forms to take home. But the good thing is being able to transform these small (or large) elements of nature into objects that decorate the house or are suitable as custom gifts.
As a general rule it is needed to paint tempera paints, stones, small brushes, glossy fixative. It is a cheap hobby that provides many satisfactions and allows you to create very beautiful projects. Before decorating, however, the stones must be well washed and dry.
Next, fill in the gaps with putty. Next, choose a theme and the colors used to give the stone a beautiful decoration. Before coloring, however, draw your chosen design on the stone with a dark pencil or chalk. Then move on to the white acrylic paint for the base and then, once dry, continue with the colors.
Shabby-style frame
Frames are another theme that we like to personalize with a decoration. A very nice idea is to create a frame with a worn effect. Basically you take a natural paint, with your favorite colors and then let it dry for about 12 hours. When it is ready, then it passes with the wax of a whole candle to the surface of the frame.
The second step is to color the frame with white tempera. Wait for it to dry for at least one night. The next day, use sandpaper to pull out the colors. The effect must be irregular and random. The frame will also be perfect as a personalized gift.
