How to make ribbon hair bows

We love show off our hair and today we bring you a very original idea of ribbon bows, for the smallest of the house or for ourselves.

We will show you the step by step of how to make ribbon bows for hair.

Ribbon bows are ideal for decorate hair of girls as they are so flirty and love to show off their hair, either with barrettes or decorated bows in different ways.

If we make them in neutral colors they also serve us, to decorate our hair on beach days in summer.

We can make them the desired size wearing little bows or large flowers in the hair.

What better idea than to make the Hair Accessories?

Therefore, you cannot miss this tutorial of how to make ribbon bows for hair.

Materials to make ribbon bows for hair:

• 4 strips of ribbon about 16 cm
• 4 strips of ribbon about 8 cm
• Buttons and embellishments of choice
• Hair clip, bands or headbands
• Glue (preferably hot silicone)
• Scissors

Steps to make ribbon hair bows:

Step 1:

We start at bigger strips of 16 cm.

We place them in cross and we glue the tips inwards, using just a droplet of silicone, staying as in the picture below:

Step 2:

We do the same procedure until all the tips are glued into.

Step 3:

With the smaller strips of 8 cm We do the same, until we form a small flower.

Step 4:

As we see in the image below, we glue the smaller bow above the largest bow and decorate as we like best, in this case we decorate with buttons.

Step 5:

Through the back of the armed bun, we paste a hair clip.

We can also glue a band or stick the bow on a headband.
