A handmade Gorjuss Keychain

Hello everybody!! As you know some time ago, the illustrations by Suzanne Woolcott, more specifically the Gorjuss dolls, well, in this tutorial I will show you how to mount a keychain Gorjuss with a picture of these beautiful dolls.

It really is a very simple tutorial, simply by getting the pieces and following the step by step we can have our Gorjuss Keychain made by ourselves and brag about it.

Materials

• A key ring
• Chain, the one we like the most
• A piece of wood, cardboard or any material that helps us to paste the photo and give consistency to our keychain.

Procedure to make a Gorjuss Keychain

The first thing we have to take into account is the shape of the keychain that we want to make. In my case I have used some pieces of wood heart shape that I bought at a craft supply store. Once we have the chosen piece, the following is print the photo or drawing that we are going to hit him. I chose several photos and made a montage, and then I took it to a photography house and had them printed on photographic paper. In this way we will obtain higher quality photos for our Gorjuss Keychain.

We can also do it in a home copier or print them on a stationery, or also make a drawing and paint it ourselves. The best thing is to choose what we like the most and put our effort into it, so the Gorjuss Keychain will be the way we imagined it.

The next thing we have to do is paste the photo to the piece, we need a strong glue for cardboard, paper, wood, etc. Once the photo is pasted, we will let it dry while we assemble the other part of the Gorjuss Keychain.

What remains is to join the chain to the ring, with tweezers we open a link and join the ring to the chain, and then we join this to the piece with the photo. To do this we are going to make a small hole in the piece with the photo, where we want to put the chain, taking into account the photo so as not to pierce somewhere that could spoil the image. We can make the hole with a small metal punch or with a thumbtack. When we have the hole made, we follow the same procedure to open a link and join the chain with the ring to the piece of our Gorjuss Keychain.

And we have it finished !!

As always, we can vary the materials and the way it is assembled and also give free rein when decorating our Gorjuss Keychain.
