Materials that we are going to need
- Cushion cover preferably smooth
- Ropes, wool, colored threads
- Pompoms, tassels
- Needle and scissors
Hands on craft
- We choose colored tassels They can be placed in the four corners, around the edge, on the side edges ... and even in the decoration of the center of the cushion. To see how to make these tassels you can see this craft. I have chosen to put a tassel in each corner, two yellow and two black. To put them on, we pass one end through the needle and introduce it into the site where we want to put the tassel. We pass the other end in the same way and we make a knot with both inside the cover. We cut the excess thread.
- We tested on the cover the design of our decoration. For this we can use ropes, threads, tassels, pompoms. Once chosen we will go on to sew it. In my case I have chosen a not very ornate decoration and on one side of the cushion. This decoration will be with strings and pompoms mainly.
- To put the strings, we sew with threads of the same color as the pompoms, distributing the pompoms. The strings are a little loose to meander. To see how to make these tiny pom poms quickly and easily look at here.
- Another strings I have sewn it directly meandering and then crossing a colored thread also snaking around the reverse of the movement of the rope.
And ready! We already have a cushion with boho decoration. You can put more decoration, even all pompoms or tassels.
