If you like reading and marking your pages, you can make these cactus-shaped bookmarks. Its design is ideal, because they have always liked these succulent plants for their colors, shapes and small colored flowers. It is not necessary to have very complex materials, perhaps the small magnets may be a bit far from our reach, but now in many bazaars we can find them. The materials that I have used are:
- colored cardstock (dark green, light green, yellow, pink, and green-tone decorative paper)
- a small pink pompom
- pencil
- scissors
- glue
- small flower shape die cutter
- small magnets
- cellophane

First step:
We choose a piece of green cardboard and paint a cactus on the bottom. We fold the cardboard just at the end of the top of the cactus and cut out the drawing
Second step:
When we open what we have cut, we have to have two cacti stuck together. We unfold them and place a magnet at each end of the cactus shape. To be able to stick them it is better to use a piece of cellophane as it will stick it safely. We make sure that the magnets are going to join when we close the structure, since if we simply stick them, their poles may not join.
Third step:
We glue the internal part of the cactus with the other internal part of the other cactus. The two parts must be joined except in the area where the magnets are. With the help of a tipex and a black marker we draw small lines above the cactus. With a little glue we put a small pink pompom.
Fourth step:
We choose the other colored cards and draw the other different cacti. We will do it as we have done with the first one. We draw, fold the cardboard, cut out, place the magnets, join both pieces and decorate its exterior. In these two cacti I have decorated with a little flowers that I have made with the help of a stamping machine. To be able to place the bookmarks in the book you must open them and place them between the pages and they will be held vertically with the help of the magnet.
