Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to see how give a second life to those glass bottles that we have at home and turn them into vases, vases or whatever comes to mind, decorating them with ropes and wool. It is a good way to reuse those bottles that have special shapes and give a unique touch to our home.

Materials that we will need to decorate our glass bottles
- Glass bottle, depending on what you want to use it for later, one size or the other is better.
- Strings of different thicknesses
- Wool of different colors
- Strong glue like hot silicone
- Scissors
Hands on craft
- The first is clean the bottle well both inside and out. After being covered by the ropes and wool, nothing happens if there is any glue or label left. Of course, the less there is, the better.
- As long as we have our bottle clean and dry we can start thinking about how we want to design the decoration. There are many options, we can simply start decorating it by winding different types of yarns and ropes alternatively, opting only for different colored ropes or only for different colored wool. We can also make designs that alternate areas of straight rope or wool and areas in zigzag. Imagination will be your best ally to make the design, you can mark with a permanent marker on the bottle the different decorated areas to know when to change color or where a design is going to go.
- Once we have chosen what we want to do, it is time to start doing it. We will be winding ropes and wool from the base of the bottle, fixing them with a little hot silicone every few centimeters and thus make sure that our design will remain solid.
