Bouquet for Palm Sunday

Bouquet for Palm Sunday

For the next Palm Sunday we have this bouquet so you can make it at home with the little ones in the house. It will be made with cardboard, since palm leaves can be difficult to obtain. It is a very simple material to obtain with a simple color. You'll just need a little rosemary and some red string to finish off this easy bouquet.

The materials I used for the bouquet:

  • A light yellow A4 size card.
  • 30 cm of red wool.
  • A sprig of rosemary.
  • Pencil.
  • Ruler.
  • Scissors.
  • Hot silicone and his gun.

You can see this craft step by step in the following video:

First step:

We measure the shortest part of one of the sides of the cardboard. We are going to divide what we measure into 8 parts and make a small mark. We mark on the bottom of the cardboard and on the top. We draw a line joining those lines.

Second step:

We fold along the lines we have drawn. We fold up and then down, we do it constantly until we finish all the marked lines. Then we will cut the folded line with the scissors without reaching the end. We will leave as a margin about 8 centimeters.

Third step:

The part that has not been cut out will be glued on all sides, to form the part where the structure is attached. We will begin to take a strip from each side of the structure and we will take it down to glue its ends. We will do it like this with three strips on the left side and three strips on the right side.

Fourth step:

If the upper part is too long, we will cut it. As they are still loose strips, we will join them with a little glue.

Fifth step:

We take the red rope and wrap it in the lower part of the bouquet. We will also decorate with the sprig of rosemary, we will put it between the rope so that it is fixed.
