Butterflies They are animals that are widely used in the decoration of children's rooms, jobs, crafts and are also closely related to flowers.
In this post I am going to teach you how to recycle cardboard toilet paper rolls to turn them into this beautiful butterfly that you can use in your work. It is done very quickly and the result is very striking, ideal to do it on a rainy afternoon at home or on a weekend.
Table of Contents
Materials to make the butterfly
- Cardboard rolls of toilet paper
- Colored round head pins
- Colored eva rubber
- Permanent markers
- Eva rubber punches
- Colored pipe cleaners
Butterfly making process
Crushes lightly the cardboard tube.
With the help of the ruler, make marks of 1, 5 cm throughout the entire roll.
Join these lines with the pencil and ruler and cut them out. They have to stay 4 equal pieces.
Glue these pieces in pairs as in the photo and then join them slightly at an angle.
Place a head pompom and a piece of pipe cleaners which will be the body of the butterfly. In the head nails two pins which will be the antennas.
Glue two white eva rubber circles on the face that will be the eyes and draw some black dots with a marker.
Then place on the edges of the wings 4 eva rubber circles that you can do with the drills and some decoration, the one you like the most, within these circles. I have chosen these figures that look like suns, but you can choose hearts, smaller circles, stars ...
And so is our butterfly. It is a perfect job to do with children. I hope you liked it and if so, do not forget to send me a photo through any of my social networks.
If you like to recycle toilet paper rolls, I propose this other idea of a very funny little mouse.
See you at the next craft.
