This craft is ideal to do with children because in addition to being quick and easy, it is entertaining and children will love being able to create their own cardboard animal (in this case a mouse), to be able to have a good time playing. Do not lose detail because it is very simple!
You need few materials and not a lot of time to do it. With children over 6 years old they can do it alone only by following some instructions. For younger children, you will need to help them follow the steps correctly.
Materials you need
- 1 color card to choose
- 1 pipe cleaner of color to choose
- 3 or 4 colored balls of crafts color to choose
- 1 scissors
- 1 glue or white glue
- 1 stapler with staples
- 2 movable eyes
- 1 light colored paper to choose
How to make the craft
To make the craft, you first have to cut a piece of cardboard as you see in the images. Then you will have to cut out two circles on the cardboard for the ears and two smaller ones on the paper for the inside of the ears. Then one more circle for the nose. Once you have everything, take the cardboard for the mouse body and fold in half as you see in the image, Put a staple at the end where the two pieces of cardboard meet. Put the clipped nose just above the staple.
Once this is done, cut out the head as you see in the image and add the ears, the movable eyes and the nose. When the nose is well attached, Add white glue and put 3 or 4 colored balls to make it more visible.
Then, you just have to take the pipe cleaner and put it on the back as a glue, as you see in the image. You will have the craft ready!
