Change the look of your old notebook, giving that personal touch that most identifies you.

In September the issue of stationery is in full swing, with this at the beginning of the year we go crazy buying material for school. Today I come with an idea that in addition to reusing that notebook that was almost new the previous year, we can customize it to our liking. Change the look of your old notebook by giving it that personal touch.

Makings:

  • Used dock notebook.
  • Felt of the color that we like the most.
  • Lace.
  • Paperboard.
  • Cardboard.
  • Scissors.
  • Marker pen.
  • Four accounts.
  • Mouse tail bead.
  • Silicone or glue.

Processing:

  • Cut a piece of felt larger than the size of your notebook cover and put glue on both the lid and the felt. Place the felt on top of the lid adjusting the spring and press with your hands. Let it dry.
  • Cut the excess felt around the edge of the lid. Repeat the same on the other lid.

  • Finish the union of the felt with the notebook gluing the lace, mine is adhesive, but even so I have applied liquid glue to ensure its fixation.
  • Glue the cardboard to the cardboard and mark a circle, in my case I have done it by passing the pencil around the contour of the glass. Cut the circle with the scissors little by little. If you have a die this big, it will make your job easier. Write what you want in the circle: the subject, your name, what the notebook is going to be for….

  • Glue the circle with silicone or strong glue on the cover of the notebook.
  • Now finish the decoration: cut two pieces of mouse tail cord to which you will have tied a ball to each end.

  • Place the two cords together and through the central part introduced at the end of the spring As seen in the image.
  • Stretch them and place a drop of liquid glue so that it is attached.

Your new notebook is ready!
