Christmas decoration it has to give a very personal touch to our house and we cannot leave it to chance. In this post I am going to teach you how to do this children's decorative platel, ideal for decorating your favorite little corners of your home and we can use the children's tableware that they no longer use.
Materials to make the Christmas decorative plate
- Colored eva rubber
- Scissors
- Glue
- Yarn
- Buttons
- Mobile eyes
- Permanent markers
- Blush and cotton swab
- Pipe cleaner
Process to make the decorative Christmas plate
- To start we need a plastic plate or cardboard that we have at home.
- We will measure its diameter with a ruler and with a compass, we will make a circle in eva rubber and we will cut it out.
- With green eva rubber we will make the grass of the landscape. It can be trimmed with pinking scissors. You can already see the size in the image, a little less than half the full circle.
- Once done, we will glue it on top of the blue piece.
- We are also going to trim 3 eva rubber circles targets of different sizes. This is something personal, you have to adapt it to the dish you are going to use.
- Now is the time to form the snowman's arms. For this I am going to use pipe cleaners. I have cut 2 pieces of 8 cm and another 2 of 4 cm.
- Place the small piece under the big one and twist it as shown in the image. So we will have both arms.
Now it's time to fit all the pieces.
- It's time to go assembling work. First, we will glue the largest circle at the bottom and then the pipe cleaners so that they are under the second ball, the middle one.
- Once the middle one is glued, we will glue the small one, which will be the head.
- Our snowman will come to life with these details. First, put the moving eyes and the pompom, which will be the nose.
- Then, place some points with a marker that will be mouth and also add some blush with the eyeshadow and the stick.
- With a fine marker I'm going to do eyelashes and eyebrows.
- A piece of cloth will be ours scarf, tie a knot as in the image and then glue it to the snowman. As it will not look good, you will have to give it a few dots of glue to make it stay fixed.
- The last details of this craft will be the snowflakes that I am going to place in the sky and I button thems that will be part of the belly of our doll.
- Now we only have to place it inside our plate and be able to hang it on any wall in our rooms.
