Today we are going to see the step by step of some cloth envelopes, so easy and effective that you will want to leave handwritten notes for those you appreciate the most.
Makings:
- Decoupage solution or white glue.
- Brush.
- On.
- Pencil.
- Scissors.
- Plastic.
- Glue stick.
- Clothespins and rope.
Processing:
- The first thing we have to know is the fabric size we need for each envelope. To do this, we open the seams of an envelope and put it on top of the fabric, as we can take advantage of the scraps of fabric that we have at home.
- We spread the plastic on the table and put the fabric on top and We give the decoupage solution on both sides or if we do not have it, white glue can also be served with water.
- We spread our fabric sheets vertically so there are no wrinkles. It will take less than an hour to dry.
- Once our sheets are dry, we spread the envelope and use it as a template and on the wrong side of the fabric. we mark with pencil the shape of the envelope. Do not use a marker as the ink can be passed to the other side of the fabric.
- We cut by the pencil mark.
- We fold the fabric: to do this we place the envelope and use those folds, first we fold the short sides ...
- And then the longest sides of the envelope, helping us with a folder or with a ruler to make it more marked, never use the iron.
- Last we glue the flap with glue stick or white glue.
And ready!, we have our cloth envelopes!, It occurs to me that they can be very useful for these dates that are approaching, we only have to practice calligraphy.
