Cold porcelain frog family

We are going to perform, a family of frogs. To do this, we will need: porcelain mass tinted light green, white, slightly darker green and red. In addition, light blue, black and white acrylic colors will be needed. ESTEC to cut the dough and a large pillow to form the eyes. Vinyl glue to glue the pieces of each figure together.

Children can model with their hands a kind of egg with too much light green color. With a finger we will make a gap to determine the mouth, and separate it from the rest of the body. With the ESTEC (or a plastic knife), we mark the mouth. We exaggerate the lip of the frog by working with our fingers. We model two small oval pieces of white dough, which will be the eyes of our frog. We glue the eyes in the sockets that we have marked with the pillow. We model two tears of light green mass, they will be the thighs of the frog. With the ESTEC, we mark a crack (along), in each thigh, to imitate the bent haunches of the frog.

For the legs, let's make two tears of the same dough and flatten it. We cut out the shape of a frog leg and round the edges. We glue the thighs to the body with vinyl glue and place the legs under the thighs. We let it dry. Once dry, we paint the iris with light blue acrylic and the pupils with black. We make a white dot in each eye, to give them shine, we can also make a kind of eyebrow. We are going to put little spots on our frogs: we shape little balls of green dough a little darker, we flatten them and we stick them on the body and on the legs of the frog. Rolled (stretching it with a rolling pin like the one we use for the kitchen) a piece of red dough, cut a strip and assemble a monkey. If we are doing the father, we hit him on the neck, between the two thighs, if we are doing the mother, we can hit him behind the eyes, on the head. We can make frogs without having to mark the mouth, simply, they will have to be painted with a black acrylic.
