This pendant is spectacular, we love its color and originality. With old CDs that you no longer use, you can make this pretty hippie mobile. We will make numerous petals with the discs and then we will wrap them with hair bands, giving it that peculiar color. Then with beads, tassels and sewing by hand we can form the entire structure. All wonderful!
The materials that have been used for the pendant:
- 4 Cds that you no longer use.
- Small gummies for hair, 8 fluorescent pink and 5 fluorescent yellow.
- 8 large dark green pom poms.
- 1 small purple pom pom.
- 5 small light pink hair bands.
- 15 plastic or wooden bead balls of different colors.
- Pink wool.
- Yellow wool.
- Thick white thread.
- A needle.
- Scissors.
- Silicone to heat and his gun.

First step:
With the help of a Cd we draw one of the sides of another Cd and make the shape of one of the petals. When we have it drawn, we cut it out. With this cut petal we will make another 12 petals and cut them out.
Second step:
We wrap 8 petals with the fluorescent pink gummies. If we notice that they are not well fixed, we can glue them with a little silicone on the edges. We wrap 5 fluorescent yellow petals.
Third step:
We make the central flower of the structure. We take thread and a needle for sewing. We fold one of the rubber bands and sew it folded. We sew it to the next one that will also be folded. We will do the same with the following ones, making a flower of 5 folded gumdrops. When we have it formed, we take the purple pompom and sew it in the center.
Fourth step:
We make the tassels. We join two fingers of the hands and we go around them. In total 12 rounds and we cut the thread. We take the yellow wool and we wrap it in the upper part of the structure that we have formed, we do 8 turns, we tie and cut. We cut the lower part of the tassel with the scissors to form the fringes of the tassel.
Fifth step:
Place the petals of the pink rubber bands upside down. We position them like a flower and put silicone on their ends so that it stays together. Between the petals we glue the green pompoms.
Step Six:
We take the thread again and sew it at one of the ends of the yellow petal. We begin to insert three beads, we leave enough thread to make it a pendant and we sew it on the top of the structure. We do the same with the other 4 yellow petals. To finish, we take a piece of wool and stick it in the upper area as a pendant, to be able to hang our mobile or recycled CD pendant.
