Ingredients for the corn dough:
- 1 cup of cornstarch
- 1 cup of white cola
- 1 tablespoon of petroleum jelly
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- a few drops of lavender (or other wood) essence
Useful tools:
- wooden spoon
- toothpicks and skewers
- spatula and / or knife
- roller
- garlic press
- cogwheel
- retina (the kind that contains garlic)
- polystyrene shapes
- paja
- cloves and stems of apples and pears, etc., fresh leaves
- paints and / or watercolors and / or natural colorants

Preparation:
First, place all the ingredients in a non-stick saucepan and cook over a very low heat for a few minutes. Mix well with wooden spoon. When the dough comes off the sides of the pan on its own, remove from the heat and let it cool.
When the dough is cold, it is mixed with your hands until an elastic consistency is obtained. Wrap in plastic wrap and place in a plastic bag. Therefore, keep for a few days. Knead with your hands for a few minutes, until the dough does not look elastic.
If you want to use it as a colored paste, then take a piece of white paste, add food coloring, and knead until the color is uniform. Be careful because the colors darken when the dough is very dry. The alternative is to use the color of the white corn dough.
With the corn dough you can almost make a lot of craft work and even objects for home decoration: animals, Christmas or Easter decorations.
