Hello! In today's craft we are going to make a covers electricity meters. This way we can hide the counters that are usually located at the entrance of the houses.

Materials that we will need to make our electricity meter covers
- A cardboard box with averages approximate to that of our accountant.
- Colored cards
- Crepe paper
- Glue
- Water
- Brush
- Zeal
Hands on craft
- The first step is cut the box in depth so that it is as tight as possible to our counters, for this we measure the depth of the counters, leave a few millimeters of margin and transfer that measurement to the cash register. We cut. We tested the box that should be attached to the meter without problem.
- Let stick crepe paper all over the box for with a mixture of water and glue (1: 1). I have decided to do it like this so that the box has texture, but if you prefer, simply line the box with a paper that you like.
- Once the box has dried or the chosen paper has been glued, we will make a simple drawing on it. It is important that it be simple because later we are going to cut it with the cutter and something very elaborate would entail more difficulty. But as we always say this is to taste, let your imagination fly with your design.
- Cut with the cutter, leaving a frame around the whole box.
- Once the figure is cut out, we can retouch the decorative paper that we have put on the box if necessary.
- Now on the inside we put a cardboard that we will fix well with zeal. Depending on the shape of your drawing, you can play with cards of various colors to get a more colorful design.
And ready! It only remains to place our box. In my case it can be held without problem, but if necessary you can hang it by making a little hole and putting some spikes.
