In this tutorial i bring you 3 ideas to create flowers recycling cardboard tubes of toilet paper or kitchen paper. They are very happy and very appropriate to do with children, letting them paint them in the colors that they like the most.

Materials

To do these Crafts We will use cardboard tubes as a common material. In addition to these you will also need the following materials:

  • Gun silicone
  • Scissors
  • Brushes
  • Acrylic paint
  • Pompom
  • Flower pot
  • Skewer stick
  • Stapler

Step by step

In the next video-tutorial you can see the Step by Step of each of the 3 ideas with cardboard tubes to create flowers. They are very easy and you can see their process in detail.

Let's go over the followed to follow from each of the Crafts so you don't forget anything and you can make yourself at home.

Idea 1

In this first idea you will need 4 cardboard toilet paper tubes. You must paint three of them with the colors you want them petals of the flower, and another of the tubes you must paint it green to create a sheet. Let them dry completely.

When the paint is dry fold all tubes in half and fix them with a grapple. Join the tubes of the petals in the center to each other with hot silicone. In the central point you must hit a pompom yellow.

You only need to paint the skewer stick of green and join all the parts. Click the toothpick in the pot and stick the leaf on one side. At the top stick the flower you just created. And you will have finished the first flower.

Idea 2

For this second idea we are going to do a kind of Red roses. This time you must open the cardboard tubes in half lengthwise. Draw on that open cardboard a spiral, and cut along the line you just drew.

Fixing with silicone you must roll up the spiral starting from the center. Apply the silicone at different points so that the flower does not open. When you have done all the ones you want, paint them with acrylic paint red or the color you like best.

Again we are going to put all the pieces together. You stick the green toothpick in the pot and the flowers in the upper part of the toothpick.

Idea 3

In the last idea you must cut cardboard tube strips approximately 1'5cm wide. Cut 6 for the flower petals and one for the leaf. Paint them with acrylic paint and let them dry.

When the paint is dry, join the petals together by one of their ends. And it only remains that you join the parts as we did in the previous ideas. Prick the toothpick, place the leaf and glue the flower to the stem with the help of the silicone.
