Good morning friends of crafts ON. Today I come with a very simple craft, But that can come in handy for that detail that you want to do to someone who likes to read and who thus remembers you every time he picks up his book, or why not, for yourselves, of course.
It is a personalized bookmark or bookmark, made with few materials and very easy to make.
Makings:
- Cardboards: In my case I have used two, one red and the other white.
- Drawing: It can be something that the person to whom the bookmark is directed likes.
- Double sided tape.
- Cutter.
- Ruler.
- Stapler.
- Ribbon to decorate.
- Glossy accents.
- Printer.
Process:
To carry out this bookmark we are going to follow the following steps:
- We write the name on the computer, we print it on the white cardboard.
- We draw a rectangle 16,5 cm by 6,5 cm, taking care that we have the name more or less in the center.
- We cut a 17,5 cm by 7,5 cm rectangle out of the red card.
- We cut out our drawing at a size of cm by cm. (We can do the drawing or cut it out of a magazine or box).
- We glue it to the white cardboard. (If we want it to be in relief, we will first glue it to a thin cardboard and then we will glue it on the white cardboard).
- We glue the white cardboard to the red one, centering it.
- We pass a fake sewn in red around the white card.
- We cut a piece of decorative ribbon in red, cut the ends of the tape at an angle of ninety degrees.
- We fold it in half and we staple at the book point.
- It only remains to give volume and shine to the letters by placing glossy accents.
- We let dry and voila, we already have our custom page brand.
As you can see, it can be personalized by putting the colors, the drawing and the name, making the set between the cards combine well the color for the letters and the chosen drawing.
