Every time we go to the beach, it is very common to return home with a few stones or shells from the beach. Either because they have a special shape or are used to decorate, it can be a nice gift for someone if we paint it with different designs made by us.
The stones can be amulets of all kinds, that is why I present these stones from the beach decorated so that you have a good time with the children.
Materials
- Stones or shells from the beach.
- Acrylic paint.
- Varnish.
Our Process
First of all, to make these decorated stones, we will have to go pick them up, but as I already told you, when you go to the beach or the forest there are always many to choose from.
Afterwards, you will have to wash them very well, removing any undesirable residue that can make our decorative stone something horrible.
Then, the we will dry very well with absorbent paper and we are painting it as we please. I advise you to first make a sketch on paper so that you have the sketch quite clear and thus not have to rectify.
Finally, once all of them have been painted, we will dry off well for at least 24 hours and later apply a varnish, so that the paint sets well.
