Let's see the step by step.
Materials to make candles decorated with napkins:
- Medium or large candles, it depends on your taste
- Decorated napkins
- Bimini
- Scissors
Steps to make napkin decorated candles:
Step 1:
The napkins come in 3 layersTo begin with, we must remove the stamped layer, as we see in the image below:
Step 2:
We place the printed napkin layer over candle, until we cover it all and cut the excess.
Step 3:
We heat the iron, when it is totally hot, very gently we began to pass it over the napkin.
What happens in this technique is that the paraffin from the candle begins to melt, thus allowing the napkin to adhere to the candle.
The procedure has to be very soft, barely touching the napkin, since if the napkin is made too strong it can break, which they would have to start over, using a new napkin.
There are various designs of napkins and you usually get them special for decoupage at any craft supply house.
These napkins, special for decoupage are finer and they will allow you to make the napkin easier to handle.
When you have passed the iron all over the napkin and you see it fully adhered to the candle, start matching with scissors, removing all the excess.
I hope you like it, meet us next time.
