Hello everybody! In this craft we are going to make some decorated jars to store bathroom things such as cotton buds, make-up removal pads, cottons, hair pins and scrunchies, etc. We will also be recycling glass jars.

Materials that we will need to make our decorated jars for the bathroom
- Glass jar. Depending on the use to be made of the jar, we will or will not keep the lid that goes with the jar.
- Permanent colored markers, specifically black and red or pink.
- Strings or bows to decorate the upper part of the boats that will not have the lid.
Hands on craft
- We clean the cans we want to use wellIf we are going to make several, it is better to choose them of a similar size, at least in width. To remove the remains of labels and glue well, it is best to remove the stickers with steam and if there are remains, rub with a little alcohol or scrape with hot water.
- Once the cans are dry we can start to draw faces. We can try first with a fine marker and go over it with a thick one on top, but I recommend doing it in a single stroke and removing with alcohol quickly if we do not like the result. The simplest thing is to draw two closed eyes and a couple of red or pink lines for the cheeks. But you can make the expressions you prefer.
- Once painted we will let it dry well so as not to smudge the drawing and we will cover the thread of the boat with rope or we will paint the lid to decorate it and that our boats are better finished.
And ready! We can now decorate our bathroom by putting these cans on the shelves and fill them with the things we need to have more at hand.
However, you can use this idea for other options such as a terrarium with white stones to show the face.
