Having candles at home is a way to get warm light, a light air freshener and a very special decorative touch. To further improve the appearance of your sails, you can create your own candle holders in a simple way. With a few simple popsicle sticks and some paint, you can renew the look of your home candles.

Candle holder with ice cream sticks
These are the materials that we will need to create this decorative ice cream stick candle holder.
- Ice cream sticks thick and unpainted

Step by step
On a piece of cardboard we create the base of the candle holder. We measure 13 centimeters wide by 14 long approximately and cut.
First we are going to place 4 sticks in the shape of a square, we apply a few drops of hot silicone so that it adheres well to the cardboard.
Now we place the second layer of sticks, as seen in the image to create the shape of the candle holder. Let's go applying silicone dots to secure all the sticks well each.
We are gluing the ice cream sticks in layers, toalternating the figures to obtain the desired shape.
We continue placing the ice cream sticks until we obtain the desired height for the candle holder. Let the silicone dry well and we remove the leftover threads.
We pass to paint the candle holder with acrylic paint and a fine brush. We are carefully covering all the gaps and the inner cardboard base.
Now with the paint still fresh we dump glitter on top from the surface until the entire candle holder is covered.
With the hands we move the candle holder slightly to better distribute the particles of glitter. Let it dry completely and remove the excess. We place the candle and we have ready our decorative candle holder with ice cream sticks.
