In this decoupage work, we are going to create a custom decoration to embellish a chalkboard to make it look different and leave anonymity in kitchen decoration. We will apply a special decoupage technique to this object: we will spread a thin layer of clay with a roller and then apply the cut of the figure of a napkin, at the disposal of the chosen plot.
Once applied to the material, we will decorate the lengths of the edges, and the edge of the board will be fixed, creating a fun and imaginative way. But now we are going to describe the steps.
Stretch the plastic wrap on the work surface, put a piece of modeling clay and with a roller, reduce it to a sheet thickness of about three or four millimeters. While the dough remains for a few minutes, cut the broad lines of a sunflower on the towel and remove the two bottom layers.
After coating the surface of the dough with a transparent acrylic product, lay down the paper veil with the sunflower. Stretch the pattern with the brush from the center out of the image and allow it to dry completely.
Trim the edges of the decorative pattern by following the edges with the knife, as shown, and support the work with a suitable surface for cutting. If you want to remove some elements from the design as too weak, you can do so at this stage.
Paint the thickness of the three-dimensional structure of the dark acrylic paint (if it was left blank it would not be aesthetically pleasing. Let it dry and cover with clear acrylic material for a tough and waterproof job.
Once the decor is dry, glue one side of the black board frame by applying a small amount of decoupage glue.
Then place your decoupage work wherever you want, it can be in the kitchen to remind you of commitments and act as a reminder.
