DIY: Braided midi rings made with wire

rings

Hi! Today I bring you a DIY to make our own Midi rings in a simple and fast way.

What are Midi rings? They are those little rings that are worn on the second phalanx of the fingers and that lately have become so fashionable among celebrities. And how could it be less, fashion has also come to our hands. I hope you like the little one DIY And as always, I await your comments and new ideas.

Materials

  1. Aluminum wire.
  2. Beads.
  3. Tongs.
  4. Superglue.

Our Process

construction

First we will cut six strips of wire about 15 centimeters long and we will begin to braid it, leaving about four centimeters in the upper end. Once we have braided almost the entire circumference of the ring - leaving a few millimeters to make the closure - we will make a sailor knot as a closure. We will find the explanation of the knot here. Once done, you have to slowly squeeze it with the pliers so that it is as similar as possible to the rest of the ring braid. Then we will cut the excess and put a little glue on the cut ends to fix it better.

Another option is to close the midi ring with trinket. As you can see, I have chosen one in the shape of a skewer.

Greetings and until next time DIY
