The lighter is a very a must for people who smoke. But these, sometimes, have very striking colors that are worth hiding as a result of the work. The best are the covers for lighters that exist in the market, but this simple craft can be done with your own hands.
It is very common to line these lighters with leather fabrics, in this case I have decided to opt for the fabric of Polipiel, since it is a very soft and elegant fabricIn addition, it is waterproof.
Materials
- Leatherette fabric.
- Needle.
- Hilo.
- Scissors.
Our Process
First we will measure the lighter on the fabric of imitation leather and we will cut with a little margin. We will put some pins on these to facilitate hemming in two of its parts.
Then we will measure again to remove excess fabric and sew the third hem on its sides. By last, we will close the cover with a nice stitching.
