With the arrival of autumn, the wardrobe change also arrives, and with it, the almost imperious need to renew our wardrobe. Unfortunately, we cannot always buy all the clothes we want. What solution do we have? Give a touch of creativity to our garments from last season customizing them manner easy, cheap and fun.
Today I propose a fantastic DIY to customize a cowboy pants and give it a new look. In my case I have chosen a geometric drawing following the latest fashion trends and I have done it simply in a pocket giving it a distinctive touch but without being overdone. We started!
Materials
- Textile painting.
- A ruler or tape measure.
- A brush.
- Polymer clay or cookie molds (if we don't have one, you can make a template with cardboard).
- A jeans.
Our Process
- The first thing to do is decide What drawing do we want to print? and where. It is important to keep in mind that once you start painting there is no going back, so make sure that what you are going to do is exactly what you want.
- Take actions. Before starting to apply the paint it is necessary that you mark the points where you will place the mold so that the whole drawing is perfect. In my case, the distance between the corner of the triangle and the corner of the next triangle is two centimeters. The height between triangle and triangle is also two centimeters.
- Place the mold exactly on the marks that we have placed and apply the textile paint with the brush. In case of using cardboard as a template, it is better to apply the paint with a sponge so that the drawing is well defined.
- Go over the edges with the brush so that the drawing is uniform.
