DIY: Fun Paper Bookmarks

book_points

Good afternoon everyone! Holy Week is over and now it's time to celebrate April 23 -morning- the Day of the book, Sant Jordi in Catalonia y the night of the book in Madrid. Have you already thought about which book to give or give yourself? Sure you do, and if not, you still have all day tomorrow to make up your mind.

And continuing with this beautiful tradition, what better time than this to make a DIY book stitch?

Materials

  1. Colored papers or cardstock.
  2. Markers.
  3. Glue.

Our Process

process

The first thing we have to do to make these beautiful bookmarks is to cut the colored folio into a square. Then, we will fold the paper in two times forming a smaller square. Next, we will fold the tip from the front inwards, leaving only a piece of paper at the back, as we can see in the photographs.

Then we will decorate our book point with eyes and teeth creating different little monsters to accompany us in our readings.

Regards and until the next DIY.
