Here we go again!
On a rainy afternoon like today, you could not miss a craft to relax and enjoy the incessant jingle that hits the glass with force. So, I have searched and rummaged through my belongings (I keep everything) for something I can customize and finally, I have found an old purse.
At DIY what next I will teach you line a purse (or wallet) in a very simple way and using only recycled materials. Hope you like it and see you next DIY!
Materials
- Clutch or purse with metal closure. In case the purse is not like that, keep in mind that you will have to polish the edge or sew it or glue it so that there is a bora superimposed on the front cover.
- Fabrics for lining.
- Heat sealing gun or also known as a «silicone gun».
- Scissors and cutting.
Our Process
- First we will cut the fabric of the shape and size that we want it to occupy. I have opted for a triangular design bordered by a gold ribbon and black velvet.
- After we will glue with the heat sealing gun the fabric over the purse.
- Finally with the part that does not cut from the cutter we will go polishing the edge inserting it into the slot between the metal clasp and the purse.
