DIY: How to make a leaf shaped pendant

leaves pendant

As you know from time to time I introduce some DIY dedicated to the polymer clay (FIMO) and I show you the new creations that I am making, both here -collaborating in Actualidadblog where you will find my DIY items- as in the rest of my social networks that you can find in my profile google +.

Well, continuing with this initiative, today I present one of the Hanging that you have liked most about the latest creations that I have designed. The leaves pendant.

Materials

material

  1. Polymer clay.
  2. Silver chain or leather cord.
  3. Silver rings.
  4. Round and flat tweezers.
  5. Cutter.
  6. Toothpick.

Our Process

leaves

First we will draw the shape of the leaves, either using a template paper or directly on the polymer clay already stretched. Then we will cut the edge with a cutter or box cutter. Once this is done, with our fingers we will outline the edge (if we do not want to leave traces we will use latex gloves). Finally we will draw the veins of the leaf with a toothpick and we will make a hole to pass the rings.

Once this is done, we will introduce the pieces to the oven (130º / 10 min) and then we will proceed to assemble the pendant leaves with the rings and the chain.
