DIY: Sailor knot bracelet made with a cord

Sailor knot bracelet

All the bracelets are ideal complement for any outfit. They are always in fashion and currently they are carried of all kinds and mixed with each other. Silver, leather, laces, beads, everything is mixed giving a saturated look that far from seeming excessive, I love it.

And that's why today I couldn't bring you anything better than this DIY  on how to make a sailor knot bracelet with a simple sports cord. It is very, very easy, it can be done in so only five minutes and that it is also very original. We started!

Materials

Marine bracelet materials

  1. Cord of sports.
  2. Un closure (We could also make a simple sliding knot as a closure).
  3. Glue and scissors.

Our Process

  1. If the cord is very long, it will be enough to use only one by cutting it in half. Then we take the right cape and we do a loop. Take a good look at the photograph as it has to be behind.
  2. Then we will take the other piece and we will also double it by passing it over the loop that we made a moment ago. We will catch the cape on the left of this same piece of cord (from now on everything will be done with this rope) and we will pass it below the loop end.
  3. The other end of the loop we will pass above.
  4. Now we will pass this cape by under the lacing and we will introduce it later by above the second cord thus forming a loop just like the first cord does.
  5. And finally we will pass the cape below the lazada again.
  6. Tighten the knot well but not too tightly since then it will not be pretty.
  7. Cut the laces to size and burn the ends.
  8. Put glue on the closure and voila!
