Dog chew with old clothes

Hello everybody! In this craft we are going to do a dog bite with old clothesIt is a perfect way to recycle and also make a toy for our pet that will give us great moments of play with him. We can also use our pet's broken toys.

Do you want to see how to do it?

Materials that we will need to make our dog bite

  • Old t-shirts
  • Old socks
  • Broken toys
  • Scissors

Hands on craft

  1. The first thing we are going to perform the core of the biter, For this we can use a pair of socks by making a squirt with them or we can use another type of core, as in this case I have used remains of a toy.
  2. We cut a shirt or several into strips about two or three fingers wide. We stretch them one by one so that they roll up on themselves.
  3. We make several braids that will serve as hanging elements of the toy and we tie them with a strong knot in the lower middle part, taking into account that they have to protrude at least about six inches. We tie a knot with all the braids right at the end.

  1. We take a strip and we roll it around the core, tightening well and tying a knot every few turns. This is to reinforce the core. It will also help us to reinforce and secure the hanging elements.
  2. From here we are going to take the strips and we are going to tie them continuous knots in each turn When we have finished covering the toy we can make another second round of strips to get a greater thickness. This will depend on the size of our dog, since it will need a somewhat larger toy or not. But you see that increasing the thickness is as simple as adding layers of fabric.

And ready! Now we can start playing with our furry friend.

I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
