Dragon with toilet paper roll cardboard

Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to see how to make a dragon with the cardboard of a toilet paper roll and a little imagination.

Do you want to know how you can do it?

Materials that we will need to make our dragon

  • Cardboard from a roll of toilet paper.
  • Crepe paper of the color that we want.
  • A couple of bits of wool.
  • Crafts eyes.
  • Glue.
  • Scissors.

Hands on craft

  1. First of all is lining the cardboard of the toilet paper roll, we can stick it with white glue or any other glue. We can cover it with any type of paper (cardboard, crepe paper, etc.) or paint the cardboard with markers or tempera.

  1. We cut strips of crepe paper of the color that we want to make flames of the dragon's breath and we are going to glue these strips on one end of the cardboard, on the inside. If you want it to look more fire, you can use the colors red and yellow or orange.

  1. Now let's make the details of the dragon's face. To do this, we are going to glue the two craft eyes on the opposite side of the cardboard with respect to the one with the flames. You can also make ears out of cardboard.
  2. With two pieces of wool of the same color, we are going to undo it and make some small balls of wool that will make the holes for the nose. We are going to glue the two balls near what would be the boot where we have put the flames.

  1. Playing with this dragon will be much more interesting. If we want the flames to have more effect we just have to blow on the head side and let the crepe paper strips melt.

And ready! We already have our dragon finished, we can make many varieties of this dragon.

I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
