Materials that we will need to make our horse
- 5 corks of equal size
- Wool of the color that we want for the mane and tail
- Fine rope for the reins
- Velvet or glitter fabric for the saddle
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun or other glue
Hands on craft
- We glue the five corks with hot silicone as follows to form the horse's body. It is It is important to take into account the shape of the corks so that they fit well. In the head, for example, we will leave the narrowest part for the nose and the widest for the part of the eyes.
- We are going to make two kinds of tassels-pompoms for the mane and tail.. The one on the tail will be longer and we will trim only one of the ends so that the wool is loose. In the one with the mane we will cut both ends and one side making a kind of crest.
- We recall on glossy or velvet paper a kind of oval elongated for the chair.
- We begin to glue the ornaments. First the saddle cloth, then the mane and tail. It is important to put glue little by little so that the horse's hair is to our liking.
- We add the eyes and the reins. For the reins, we will make a loop with the string around the horse's nose and then a loose loop around the neck.
And ready! We have already made our horse with corks and wool.
