Easy octopus with toilet paper roll

Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to make this octopus out of a toilet paper roll. It is perfect to do with the children for a little while in the afternoon and then they can play with the craft.

Do you want to know how you can do it?

Materials that we are going to need to make our toilet paper roll octopus

  • A toilet paper roll carton.
  • A marker of the color that best suits us.
  • Crafts eyes. If you don't have one, you can make two eyes by making two circles with white cardboard and two with black cardboard that are smaller than the previous ones.
  • Scissors.

Hands on craft

  1. We take the cardboard from the toilet paper roll and We paint with the marker that we have chosen. You have to try not to see the color of the cardboard on the outside.
  2. Once painted we wait a little before continuing so that the paint dries well.

  1. We cut the toilet paper roll into eight parts leaving about two centimeters uncut that will be the head of the octopus.

  1. Let's roll the tentacles in the marker to shape them. We rest the octopus on the table by the part of the tentacles and we check that they are all more or less at the same height so that it supports well. If not, we modify it with our hands.

  1. We glue two eyes of crafts to form the face.
  2. If we want to make a smaller octopus, we just have to roll the tentacles more and leave less area for the head, so we will have a shorter figure. So we have the option of making a family of octopuses playing with size and colors.

And ready! We already have our octopus made and ready for an afternoon of games with the little ones in the house.

I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
