Elephant stilts made from cans

Elephant stilts with children's cans

Children always love to play with anything. Your imagination is so great that from a simple year can ride a spaceship. However, today we encourage recycling those cans, to do something more fun like the typical tall stilts that we used in gym class when we were little.

With these stilts, we favored the equilibrium, as well as the ability to walk in height. With these, we will pretend that we are big elephants that live in the great savannah.

Materials

  • 2 cans.
  • 1 hammer.
  • 1 brush.
  • 1 clove.
  • Painting.
  • Black marker.
  • Rope.

Our Process

  1. Paint the typical elephant nails at the bottom of the can, let dry.
  2. Go over the contour with black marker.
  3. We conduct 2 holes at the ends of the can, with the help of the nail and the hammer.
  4. Through those holes, we will pass the rope.
  5. Finally, we will measure the rope and make a nudo strong.
