Hello everybody. Again I come with a tutorial for the little ones from the house and rather those who still use a pacifier.
Today I bring you a tutorial to do a fabric pacifier holder in very few steps. To give and make a detail or for our own baby.
We can make several fabric pacifier holders to combine with our baby's clothes, too easy.
Materials to make a fabric pacifier holder
- Screen.
- Pacifier clip.
- Snaps.
- Scissors.
- Sewing machine.
Procedure
To begin with I have used a 100% cotton pink fabric, but we can use the fabric that we like the most. I have measured the length of the fabric pacifier holder that I wanted and I have cut the fabric.
Then I folded the fabric in the way that I show in the photos, dividing it into three equal and overlapping parts and then half again.
After bending it I pinned it down and I sewed the top and bottom edges. We can do it by hand or by machine, I used the sewing machine.
When I had the edges of each end of the fabric pacifier sewn together, the next thing I did was sew each side and then take the clasp from the pacifier holder and place it at one end holding it with a pin so that it does not come off and sew. These brooches we can get them in haberdashery or sewing stores, or in stores that sell craft supplies. I have used a pink plastic one to match the fabric I have chosen but there are different materials and colors.
To close the fabric pacifier holder I have used plastic snaps also in pink. I have attached the snaps to the other end with the snaps pliers and thus we have the fabric pacifier closure on in no time.
And with this we finish the making of the fabric pacifier holder. We can decorate it putting an applique or embroidering it as we like.
