paper butterfly materials

  • Colored paper (choose the colors that you like best for your butterfly)
  • Scissors
  • 1 glue stick
  • 1 pencil
  • 1 eraser
  • 1 bit of tape or washi tape

How to make flying butterflies to decorate

Draw a line on the paper that will be the body of your butterfly, we have chosen the green paper. The colored paper is ideal that it is DINA-4 so that it comes out of a fairly large size. Make a part from the side of about 5 or 6 centimeters. When you have it, put glue on the small area that has been delimited with the line made with the pencil. Once you have the glue on, fold the paper as if you were making a cylinder and allow the glued part to stay on the back of the paper cylinder.

Then put the paper cylinder in the middle of a colored DINA-4 paper and draw the wings as you see in the image. Then remove the cylinder and join the wings to later trim them. When you have the wings, take a piece of the other colored paper and draw the antennae and the motifs to decorate the butterfly's wings, we have put small circles.

Now Glue the cylinder in the middle of the wings, the antennae and the decorative motifs on the wings. Then draw a smiley face.

Take the rope to hang and let the butterfly fly and with tape or washi tape stick it behind the butterfly and then to the ceiling.

… You already have your flying butterfly!
