bracelet

How have you started the week? We hope very well, we We bring you a week full of fantastic ideas to make new DIYs so that you can fully squeeze your most creative side.

In today's post, we propose to work with lace guipure, for who does not know, it is a lace with the embroidered drawing in relief. This one that you see in the photographs is a machine-made guipure lace, but they also sell them handmade and they are beautiful!

Material

  1. Guipure lace. You can find it in haberdashery and craft stores.
  2. A closure.
  3. Scissors.
  4. A pair of metal bases to hold the bracelet.
  5. Some pliers.

Our Process

As you can see in the photos, the DIY needs almost no explanation. It is super simple and it is divine. It is ideal for the summer, to wear alone or with a lot of bracelets in the purest festival style.

The first thing we will do is cut the length of the bracelet that, depending on whether we want it to be more or less tight, it will be one size or another, but for a "standard" wrist it is about 17 centimeters.

After we will polish the tips that we have cut, you know, we will cut the remaining threads flush so that everything is perfect. It is important that you make sure that it is not going to undo, if you have cut any extra thread, with a needle and thread you can do a small darning so that it does not fall apart.

Then we just have to fix the metal bases to the tips of the bracelet with pliers and put a clasp to the bracelet. On this occasion, we have opted for a small rubber band to be able to take it off and put it on as we please without the murga of opening and closing those uncomfortable closures that most bracelets wear.

We hope you liked this beautiful DIY and that you leave us comments and suggestions at the bottom of the article. And as always Until the next DIY!
