Hand to learn to count, easy and practical

Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to see how make this hand so simple with Eva rubber or felt. It is ideal to help the little ones to learn to count and more at the beginning of the classes.

Do you want to know how you can do it?

Materials that we will need to make our hand to count

  • Eva rubber sheet or felt. Any material that is flexible and easy to trim will work.
  • Velcro straps. You can also use other material such as sewn clips or even double-sided tape, but velcro is ideal and more so if we choose adhesive velcro strips.
  • Scissors.
  • Pencil.

Hands on craft

You can follow the step by step to make this craft in the following video:

  1. We put the Eva rubber sheet or felt. We are going to use our hand as a model and trace its outline with a pencil. We can also use the hand of our little ones, but a bigger hand will be better when it comes to using the craft to count.
  2. Once the silhouette of the hand is marked, let's cut it out with scissors.
  3. Let cut small squares of velcro or to take the medium to paste in a specific way chosen.
  4. Let put one part on the tips of all the fingers and another on the palm. The idea is that the fingers stick together and we bend, as if we were counting on our real hands. You can also paint the numbers from 1 to 5 on your fingers so that in addition to saying them you can learn to write the numbers.

And ready! We can start playing folding fingers to dial a number. Once we have some raised fingers we will have to play to say what number it is. You can also count the numbers from 1 to 5 and lower your fingers as you count.

I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
