In this tutorial I teach you to create a hanger with 3d letters, perfect for children's bedrooms adding the initial of the little ones. But depending on the design you make, you can use it in a multitude of spaces.
Materials
To make the hanger with 3D letters you will need the following materials:
- Wood plank
- Fine-grained sandpaper
- Porexpan
- Pencil and paper
- Brush
- Scissors and cutter
- Acrylic paint
- White glue and silicone
- Cardstock or paper
- A napkin
- Hangers
Step by step
To make the hanger with 3D letters You will have to prepare the base with the wooden board first, so sand it and paint it.
While the board dries, do the 3d letter. To do this, draw it on paper, transfer it to the styrofoam and cut it with a utility knife. To decorate it, apply the decoupage technique, so glue a paper napkin with white glue. To cover the edges, glue a strip of cardboard or paper with gun silicone. Reinforce it with one more layer of white glue.
Glue the letter to the wooden base and then do the same with the hangers.
