Homemade glue recipe

Homemade glue

In the world of Crafts It is essential to have a good glue on hand to carry out our manual works. however, the one we buy from the store contains a lot of chemicals and comes in plastic containers that we cannot recycle.

If we look back we will surely find that glues were also used in the past, although they were much more ecological and they were basically made of flour and water. In spite of everything, it has a great adhesive power and is used to glue many things, not everything, but many.

Searching as always in the trunk of my grandparents I have found an ecological solution to make a much more professional paste with greater adhesive power. It is easy to do, cheap and ecological so there are no excuses not to do it.

Materials

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 / 3 of sugar cup
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • Some water

Preparation

In a pot, place the sugar and flour with a little water. Stir and mix well and leave it over medium heat until it becomes a thick mixture. Add the vinegar.

Let it cool and place it in a glass container, the best thing is that it is reused from any jam jar that we have run out or from a glass glass of some yogurt, surely you have some out there and you can take advantage of it to give it a new one use instead of throwing it away. We store it in the fridge and voila, it serves approximately two weeks.
