Although summer is ending we still have a few weeks of heat left, at least in the area where I live, and what better way to combat the heat than to reduce clothing to a minimum.
Today we will tell you how recycle a T-shirt old for boy as a shirt. The heat like this, it always holds up better!
Materials
- Old t-shirts
- Scissors.
- Needles
- A marker.
Our Process
We will spread the shirt on a table, or if you don't have one big enough (or as in my case you don't have it available) we can also do it on the ground.
Once stretched, we will go on to mark where we should cut the sleevesIf you are not sure, it is best to try it on (or try it on) to see how high we should cut the sleeve. I have cut it right at the end of the shoulder. The shirt that I used was quite low on the shoulders so, as you can see in the image, I have not cut it at the seam but I have done it more inwards.
To make sure they are well cut, put some needles that hold the front and the back.
Once this is done, We will fold the shirt in half overlapping right and left to cut the other sleeve at the same height. Here we will also put needles to mark the way forward. Finally, we will cut the neck following the seam.
Until the next DIY!
