One of the most recurring decorative elements in any home are the dried flowers. They give a touch of warmth to any room and are also great.
Now, dry off flowers It is not as easy as it may sound. Sometimes, although we let them dry upside down for weeks, sometimes they do not finish as we would have liked, or their color is not what we expected or they have been wilting and what we get is not a beautiful dried flower but, everything otherwise. The trick to get a better result is to do a drying with glycerin.
Materials
- Flowers.
- Glycerin.
- Water.
- A container.
Our Process
Fill the container 3/4 full with hot water and add 3/4 to a cup of glycerin. Then introduce the flowers for a few minutes until they are well soaked. Once this time has passed, take them out and put them upside down for a couple of weeks until they are very dry.
Until the next DIY!
