Material to make the carnival cazú or kazoo
- A roll of toilet paper
- Colored folios
- Silk paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- An elastic band
- Pencil or pen
- Styrofoam ball
- Eva rubber punch
- Black eva rubber
- Permanent markers
Process of elaboration of the cazú or kazoo of Carnival
- To start we need a cardboard roll of toilet paper and a color folio that you like the most.
- Measure the length from the roll and cut a paper strip with that measure.
- With glue stick Stick the colored sheet on the cardboard tube.
- Now cut out a square of silk paper large enough to fit into the mouth of the tube.
- Shape the tissue paper onto the end of the cardboard with your hands.
- Now, you will need a elastic band, you can use whatever you find at home.
- Place the elastic band on the edge of the cardboard and give the necessary turns so that it is well taut.
- With a pencil or pen make a little hole on the cardboard carefully so as not to wrinkle the rest of the materials.
- Now we are going to do the eyes of our little monster.
- Take a polystyrene ball, in my case it is number 3.
- Cut it in half and we will have both eyes.
- Pleasure two black circles with the hole punch and stick them on the Styrofoam balls.
- Glue the eyes on top of the roll next to the mouth of the instrument. Don't plug the hole because then it won't sound.
- With white marker I'm going to do the brightness of the eyes.
