There are many types and ways to making flowers with crepe paper. Today I bring you this way in which the petals are simulated in a way that they seem to be pumped. An original and very particular way to decorate or give a personalized gift. Those gifts that are received and we see the dedication of the other person to us, which we like so much. Materials
- Green, red and yellow crepe paper
- Ping pong, golf bag, or any similar
- Scissors
- White glue
Our Process
- Cut 5 very loose rectangles of the red crepe paper. Try to make them all the same size.
- Put it ping pong ball on top, near one side. Roll it up as if you were rolling a candy. But not entirely, it leaves an opening just like the one you can see in the image.
- Get the ball out. If you find that it is difficult for you to remove it, you can help yourself by opening the opening a little. If it does not fit you completely, also use your fingers to return it to its position. It will not cost you much because the form is already quite done.
- Cut with scissors the shortest part you got when you rolled the ball. Do not make it too on the edge, but leave just enough so that it does not fall apart.
- Repeat the process for 4 more petals. A total of five.
- Cut 4 long strips from the yellow paper. They will be the pistils of the flower.
- Fold and make a ball shape in one corner. The rest roll it up as much as you can.
- Put them together and stick them with the white glue. Make a thin strip of glue.
- Finally, gather the petals and Roll it up with a long strip of green crepe paper. Stick it on and it's ready to wear.
